To highlight Aqaba's fruitful potential in the Gulf area, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), will be participating in the Dubai Cityscape Exhibition from the 5th until the 8th of October 2009 along with Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) the silver sponsor for the event.

The exhibition offers a fertile environment for industry leaders to interact with ASEZA and build a prolific network into the heart of ASEZ to discover the world-class business hub and leisure destination it is.

In 2001 the Jordanian government took an initiative that highlights Aqaba's commercial and cultural prominence to the world, by establishing ASEZ, and formulating the ASEZA to mandate and regulate the zone.
